Our goal is to simplify the process for producers, art departments, and set decorators by providing artwork that is pre-cleared for professional use.

What does 'cleared art' mean?
‘Cleared art’ means that all artwork on our site has been vetted to ensure it is free from copyright or intellectual property conflicts. This allows you to safely use the artwork in your productions without legal concerns.

LICENSING ARTWORK

How do I license artwork for my project?
Licensing is straightforward. Browse our online galleries and select the artwork you’d like to license. Submit your inquiry via the Contact Form or email us at info@artzentury.com with the details of your project, including title, production company, usage, and duration. Once we review your request, we will provide a customized licensing agreement outlining the terms, fees, and delivery method.

What projects are your artworks cleared for?
All ArtZentury Cleared Art pieces are cleared for use in film, television, streaming services, commercials, social media content, and other media productions.

Can I modify the licensed artwork?
Cropping and resizing are allowed, but any other alterations must be approved by us. Contact us to discuss your specific needs before modifying artwork. We can also modify any artwork to your specified color palette.

Can I license artwork exclusively?
Yes, exclusivity can be arranged for an additional fee, depending on the artwork’s availability and mutually agreed terms. Contact us to explore your options.

What file formats are available for licensed artwork?
Digital artwork files are delivered in high-resolution formats suitable for production use, such as TIFF, PSD, or high-quality JPEG. Specific formats can be requested and tailored to your production needs.

Can I print or enlarge licensed images myself?
Yes, you may print or enlarge digital files, but some files may not be suitable for extreme enlargements without quality loss. We provide the highest-resolution version available and can offer custom solutions at an additional cost if required.

Does the license cover all media types (film, broadcast, streaming, etc.)?
Yes. Standard licensing agreements can cover film, television, broadcast, streaming, and digital media. Each license is tailored to your production’s scope and distribution.

INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

What insurance is required to license artwork?
Clients must provide proof of the following minimum insurance coverage:

  • General Liability Insurance – Minimum $500,000 per occurrence / $1,000,000 aggregate.
  • Inland Marine Insurance or Production Package Policy (DICE) – Must include Props, Sets, and Wardrobe with a minimum of $500,000 coverage.
  • ArtZentury Cleared Art and Arberday Film and Television Productions, Inc. must be named as additional insureds.
  • Errors & Omissions (E&O) Insurance – Recommended but not required.

Deposits: ArtZentury Cleared Art reserves the right to hold a deposit equal to the deductible ($2,500) for Props, Sets, and Wardrobe.
Exceptions for Smaller Productions: Smaller or low-budget productions may qualify for exceptions to these minimum requirements. Licensing cannot proceed until proof of coverage is provided or an exception is approved.

Not all artwork files can be enlarged or printed at every requested size. Each image has a maximum size limit based on its original resolution.

For licensed digital artwork: Some files may not be suitable for extreme enlargements or large-scale prints without a loss of quality. We will always provide the highest-resolution version available for your production’s needs and can discuss custom solutions upon request.

For purchased prints: When ordering prints for personal display, we will confirm if your requested print size is technically possible before production. If the enlargement would compromise quality, we’ll suggest the best available alternative size.

Whether you’re licensing a digital file or purchasing a print, our goal is to deliver the best visual fidelity possible within the technical limitations of each artwork.

International Note: ArtZentury Cleared Art licenses artwork worldwide. Clients outside the United States must comply with their local copyright and intellectual property laws when using licensed artwork.
